A big Hohou to Mr. Monroe for coming over to ACHS and running our Hand Game tournament! Congratulations to the Rabbit Guessers who came out on top!

Julianna Monroe is the Arapaho Charter High School Student of the week! She was nominated by staff members Darci Holbert and Nicole Biltoft. Julie, as she is known at ACHS and beyond, is a 12th grade student and an absolute rockstar in and out of the classroom. “Julie is a constant student leader at ACHS. She is very diligent in her studies and is a joy to have in class. She is always willing to help out and lend a hand whatever the task,” writes Darci Holbert. Nicole Biltoft writes “Julie is an excellent student. She is on the 4.0 honor roll first semester! She is quiet but kind to everyone. She is responsible and can be counted on to do her part in a fundraiser. Julie is always willing to help out and participate in spirit days! Julie is an great role model and a staple at ACHS.” She made the leap from 10th grade to 12th grade this year and will be graduating in May.
At ACHS Julie is a fixture on the Honor Roll, a starter on the school’s first-ever volleyball team, and is looking forward to managing for the boys basketball team starting next week. She is active with Food Distribution and Bring Change to Mind as well. She has received numerous academic awards over her high school career, and was a prior winner of this honor. Outside of school Julie likes to play volleyball in the park, help around the house, and hang out with family. After graduating she plans to attend the University of Wyoming and study Management. Well-deserved, Julie!

Arapahoe schools' Thanksgiving lunch is underway! Thank you to all of the families who came to join us, and an extra special Hohou to the District kitchen staff for preparing the wonderful meal!
